School Administrator (Full-Time)

Stetson Baptist Christian School is seeking its next School Administrator. Responsibilities include:

Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff supporting a climate of academic excellence, character development, and integration of faith and learning. Hire, train, supervise, and review school faculty according to school policy. Create professional development opportunities throughout the year. Serve as educational leader of the school, establishing curriculum and assessment procedures that support student learning and enrichment. Coordinate effective academic support to qualifying students in Pre-K through 8th Grade. Coordinate and promote effective management and administration of daycare and summer programs. Manage systems, procedures, and personnel to achieve the safe, effective operation of plant facilities. Collaborate with the school and church leadership on policy and procedure development and on strategic issues of growth and development. In cooperation with pastoral staff, facilitate a positive relationship between school and church. Manage school budget line items within budgeted limits. Coordinate communications with parents keeping them informed of relevant events and issues. Assist in the resolution of non-academic and behavioral problems that interfere with students receiving the maximum benefit from the school’s educational programs. Be familiar with educational technology and supportive to the school’s need for technology training.
