You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child’s sticker tag is to be worn on his or her back. The tag bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service.

We will meet your family and check your child into our database system. We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s name, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

Babies - 5-Year-old

Meet in the Preschool Center

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Meet in the Children’s Center (look for the Stetson Kids sign)

After the service, please return to the Children’s Center and have your ID tag ready. A child will not be released without a matching ID tag. If you misplace your tag, please see the Stetson Kids check-in desk, and we will be happy to print you a new tag.

On your way home, be sure to ask your child about his or her time in Stetson Kids. One great question to ask is:

“Did you have fun?”

Sunday School

Sunday School is concentrated Bible learning for children!  There are age-graded classes from birth to 5th grade. At Stetson, we utilize the Gospel Project curriculum which emphasizes a chronological approach to the narrative of Scripture.  It helps children begin to fit the various events of the Bible (like creation, the great flood, Abraham, Jonah, and Jesus’ birth) into a cohesive order. When Sunday School is over, you may pick them up and take them into the adult worship service, or you can allow them to stay in the Children’s Center and attend Children’s Church!

Children’s Church
10:30 AM

Children’s Church is a crazy combination of music, singing, Bible lessons, review games, recreation, prizes, memory verse, offering and more! Pastor Wayne and his wife Angie lead a group of volunteers during the second worship service. When you check your child in for Sunday School you can also check them in to Children’s Church at the same time. If there are five Sundays in a month, we will usually take a break from Children’s Church for Family Worship on the 5th Sunday and all children grades K-5th attend “Big Church” with their parents.

Wednesday 6:00 PM

AWANA Clubs are like scouting with a focus on Bible memorization! Awana is divided into four age group clubs: Puggles for 2 year olds, Cubbies for 3-4 year olds, Sparks for K-2nd graders and Truth & Training for 3rd – 5th graders. Awana also features many special events like a pine car derby called Grand Prix, a Bible Quiz, Awana Olympics, camping trips, theme nights and more. Awana runs with the school year and takes a break during the summer months. Registration begins in July but your child can join at any time from August to May!

Stetson Baptist features Upward Basketball and Cheerleading during the months of December – February each year. Registration begins in September and ends in November. Cheerleading is for K-5th grade girls. Basketball is K–5th grade boys and girls. We desire to be family friendly and Upward is only one practice per week for one hour on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. Saturday Game Days are January through February and all games are played in the Family Life Center gym.

Join Us For Children’s Church

Every Sunday at 10:30

We desire to partner with your family in leading your child to Christ, equipping your child to be a faithful follower of Jesus, and teaching your child to share with others how to do the same. We want to be a resource for you so your family may glorify God together.

The practical ways we can enable your child are through age-specific Bible study, which we call Sunday School, and through our time of teaching children the importance of worship, Children’s Church. Another primary way we help children grow as followers of Jesus is through Awana. Awana helps children learn truths about the Bible through memorization and is a great place to make friends!
